Career Development Committee

Comprised of folks who are passionate about expanding opportunities around career development, serve as a resource for best practices, and to ensure the lodging industry is recognized as a great place to work. Foundation Support is a prerequisite.

Development Committee

Directs the fundraising activities for the Foundation.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Task Force 

Provides input and strategic direction for the Foundation's recently announced $5 million commitment and action plan to advance diversity, equity & inclusion in the hotel and lodging industry.

OFF-Site Committee

Provides advanced planning for the OFF-Site event series that includes Golf Classic, oversees the tournament, and secures sponsorship for foursomes, events, and tee signs.

Investment Committee

Oversees the Foundation's investment strategies to provide adequate funding for programs, grants, projects, and scholarships that address the needs of the industry as determined by the AHLA Foundation Board.

Nominating Committee

Oversees the nomination of AHLA Foundation's officers, as well as ensuring board effectiveness and governance.

Research Committee

Establishes and regulates the application process for grant requests for research funding, and reviews all applications, making recommendations to the AHLA Foundation Board.
