Qui Solomon was homeless until she found a home in hospitality.

Selene Gonzalez was able to focus on her studies and not worry about financing her education.

Daniel Ovichegan’s dreams came true when he was promoted to General Manager.

Whether it’s lifting individuals out of poverty and connecting them with a life-long career in the hotel industry, enabling hospitality students to focus on their studies, or advancing current hotel employees into leadership positions, the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation’s (AHLEF) programs are changing the industry by changing lives.

One life at a time.

In the last five years, AHLEF has had significant momentum advancing the industry and the people that make it special.

That would not have been possible without our generous donors.

With your support we can do so much more. And faster.

The demand to train and certify more youth to fill entry level positions through our Empowering Youth program is so high that we will expand from 6 to 10 cities in 2020. Even as we plan to launch a new Culinary Apprenticeship program in January, we continue to hear from AHLA members that there is a need to develop one for sales and engineering too. And each year, we receive more scholarship applications from deserving hospitality students.

This Giving Tuesday as you consider what organizations to support, will you help us meet these needs by making a donation to AHLEF this year?

On behalf of Qui, Selene, Daniel and the 5,000 others that AHLEF served this year, we thank you.
